Are pets permitted at HERSHEY Highmeadow Campground?
Yes, but only in the self-contained camper area. Pets must be leashed at all times when outdoors, and pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pets are not permitted in either the cabin or tent areas of the campground.

Do The HOTEL HERSHEY and HERSHEY LODGE offer children’s activities?

What kind of entertainment and shows are available at HERSHEYPARK?
HERSHEYPARK offers a variety of shows daily throughout the park and top name entertainment at special shows in the Amphitheater that is also located inside the park. All shows are FREE with your regular paid admission to the park. All seating at all shows is on a first-come-first-serve basis. No reservations or VIP seating available. There is seating for handicap accessible guests. Gates open one hour prior to show times.

Where can I receive discounts on HERSHEYPARK tickets?
Discounted HERSHEYPARK admission tickets can be purchased at participating Giant Food Stores in Pennsylvania, and Martin's Food stores in Maryland. To find a Giant or Martin's location, click here.

How much does it cost to enter HERSHEYPARK?
HERSHEYPARK entertainment complex one-price admission plan entitles you to all rides (except where height restrictions apply) all live performances and same-day visit to ZOOAMERICA North American Wildlife Park when entered from within the Park. Does HERSHEYPARK rent strollers?
Bring your own or rent one of our strollers. Strollers are available (for a rental fee) inside the Main Entrance on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Does HERSHEYPARK offer military discounts?
Military discounts available to active duty military, reserves, retired military personnel, and members of the National Guard. Guests must purchase tickets or obtain coupons from their base prior to arriving at HERSHEYPARK. If you are not able to obtain discount tickets and/or coupons at your base, please contact Lisa Irons at lairons@HersheyPA.com.

Do you rent cameras?
No, but disposable cameras are available for purchase in the gift shops.

Are there picnic tables are HERSHEYPARK?
Yes. Guests are welcome to use picnic tables provided beneath the HERSHEYPARK Stadium when available, or the tables provided on the patio area between the historic HERSHEYPARK Arena and HERSHEYPARK. Tabletop grills are permitted while guests are eating. No reservations are required. Tables are first-come-first-serve.

Can I leave the park and return in the same day without paying?
Yes. Guests may leave and re-enter the park as often as they wish. They need to get their hands stamped before leaving the first time. The hand stamp is waterproof so you can go swimming and then return. Show you Parking Stub at the parking gate as well for free re-admission.

Can I use my park ticket that I didn't use last year?
You must bring your regular summer season ticket (no complimentary tickets, escort tickets or tickets that are valid only on a specific date) to the Guest Services Window where you can exchange it for a current season ticket. You would be responsible for any price difference between the year purchased and current year.

Are lockers available at HERSHEYPARK and what is the cost?
Yes. Lockers are available just inside the park entrance, outside the restrooms near the Carrousel, at picnic areas, in the walkway to the Season Pass Office, and also at Canyon River Rapids. There is a fee each time the locker is opened. Lockers range from $ .75 to $2.00 depending on the size of the locker. They are not large enough to store big stuffed animals. The big stuffed animals can be stored at the "Barking Lot" or Tram Circle after 1 PM during the summer season only. Neither Employees, Guest Relations nor Security are permitted to hold customer items for temporary storage. Any problems with lockers will be handled through the Merchandise Office.

Can we bring our own two-way radios (walkie-talkies) into HERSHEYPARK?
Yes. Many of our guests bring these to stay in touch. Please note the park does not rent either.

Do you have a place for nursing mothers to feed their babies at HERSHEYPARK?
Yes. The park has a special place set aside for nursing mothers at their First Aid Station.

Is there a shuttle service to HERSHEYPARK?
Overnight guests of HERSHEY Resorts may enjoy complimentary shuttle service to HERSHEYPARK. Shuttles run approximately every 1/2 hour depending on traffic.

Can we bring our pets to HERSHEYPARK?
For the safety of guests and pets alike, pets are not permitted within HERSHEYPARK. During our summer season, mid-May through mid-September, pets can stay at our "Barking Lot" located under the West Stand of HERSHEYPARK Stadium near the entrance to the park. Reservations are not required. The Barking Lot is closed mid-September through mid-May. Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. Credit cards may be used to purchase admission tickets, merchandise, and food (in selected food buildings). We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club.

Personal checks will not be accepted as payment for purchases anywhere in HERSHEYPARK or for admission for tickets.

What happens in the Park if it rains?
It takes a lot more than rain to dampen the fun spirit at HERSHEYPARK. However, for reasons of safety and guest comfort, some rides and shows may be closed during rain or electrical storms. These conditions usually last only a short time. While it is raining, guests may visit one of our many shops and restaurants or you can escape the rain at ZOOAMERICA's indoor exhibits.

I am pregnant and cannot ride rides. Do I get a discount admission?
Sorry, no. Although there are some rides that are not recommended for women who are pregnant, there are still many rides that you can enjoy, such as the Kissing Tower, Monorail, Skyview, Carrousel, and Dry Gulch Railroad. Signs at each ride indicate which rides are safe for pregnant guests. There are also numerous shows and entertainment located throughout the park, delightful stores for shopping, as well as free admission to ZOOAMERICA. I have a cast on, can I still ride rides?
Yes, there are signs posted at each ride indicating the restrictions for that ride. In most cases, your own discretion is suitable for whether or not you wish to ride a certain ride. This information is also included in our Guide for Guests with Disabilities.

Is Hershey really a town?
Although we are known to the world as HERSHEY, we are not officially a town. We do not have a mayor, but are governed by the Township Board of Supervisors. When Milton Hershey first established his business here, the area was known as Derry Church, later Derry Township. Because the railroad had to establish a train stop for Mr. Hershey's chocolate factory, it was the railroad that began to call us "Hershey" after Milton S. Hershey. The name stuck and we've been known as HERSHEY ever since, but officially we are not a town.

What is the closest airport?
The closest airport is Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) located in Middletown – just 12 minutes from Hershey. Transportation service is available from each of our properties for a nominal fee. Pick-up reservations can be made by calling either THE HOTEL HERSHEY at 717-533-2171 or HERSHEY LODGE at 717-533-3311, and request the Concierge Desk.
